Wildberry Crumble

Wild about berries? You will love this warm dessert made with Barker's NZ Wildberry Dessert Sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 Granny Smith apple
- 400 g Mixed berries in syrup
- 5 Tbsp Barker's New Zealand Wildberry Sauce
- 150 g Plain flour
- 120 g Quick cook oats
- 150 g Brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 140 g Butter, melted
Method
- Preheat oven to 180ºC fan bake.
- Core apples and dice into 1-2cm cubes (no need to peel). Drain berries well (discard juice). Place in a round (approximately 25cm diameter) oven-safe dish. Add Barker’s New Zealand Wildberry Sauce and toss to combine.
- Place flour, oats, sugar and baking powder in a bowl and stir to combine. Add butter and mix until well combined and mixture clumps together a little.
- Spoon crumble mix on top of the fruit. Bake for 35 minutes, until apples are tender and crumble is golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving with ice cream, custard or cream.
