Strawberry Matcha Latte

This Strawberry Matcha Latte is the perfect blend of fruity sweetness and earthy matcha vibes. Refreshing, creamy and perfect for the 'gram!

Ingredients

Method

  1. In a small bowl, add 1 teaspoon of matcha green tea powder.
  2. Pour 2 tablespoons of hot water over the matcha powder.
  3. Use a bamboo whisk or a regular whisk to blend until the matcha is smooth and there are no lumps.
  4. Heat 1 cup of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it's hot but not boiling. Alternatively, you can microwave the milk for about 1-2 minutes until hot.
  5. Froth the milk using a milk frother or whisk to create a creamy, foamy texture.
  6. Assemble the latte. If you prefer an iced latte, fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  7. Squeeze Barker’s Strawberry Squeezy Fruit Preserve into the bottom of the glass.
  8. Slowly pour the frothed milk over the strawberry preserve.
  9. Gently pour the prepared matcha over the milk, allowing it to create a layered look. You can pour it slowly over the back of a spoon to help achieve this effect.
  10. Give the latte a gentle stir before drinking to mix the flavours.
